Surroundings Brixen

The bishop city of Brixen is the centre of the valley of Eisack in South Tyrol Italy! Situated in a charming landscape the guest can find a lot of interesting places like: churches, chapels, monastery's, sculptures, altars of the late gothic and high valued frescos. All these sights are witnesses of an artful past.
Brixen also offers an alternative program for bad weather like: swimming, sauna and wellness in the adventure bath called Aquarena…everyone is going to find something for himself.
Thanks to the love for sports, Brixen is going to be the scene of the U18- world championship for athletics in 2009. The champion ship will take place from the 08 till the 12 of July.
Two unique buildings are situated next to Brixen: the abbey Neustift and the castle Rodeneck. They were built in close connection with the bishop city of Brixen. And they are suitable for an enjoyable half day program.
